With regret and sadness we announce that Merry Sherwood Plantation has closed it doors and will no longer be operating as an inn. We will forever be grateful to our many guests who have enjoyed not only their stay with us, but their authentic step back in time. Merry Sherwood Plantation has provided a relaxing getaway to hundreds of people visiting the area for over 20 years. We would like to thank all of our loyal guests who came to see us year after year. Your warm friendship and patronage will not be forgotten. At this time, Merry Sherwood Plantation will be used privately and not open to the public. However, if you are interested in booking a special event with us such as a wedding or an anniversary party, please give us a call and let us know. We will work very hard to try to accommodate you. History
Originally, Merry Sherwood was a portion of an early land grant from Lord Baltimore in the seventeenth century. In the 1850's Henry B. Johnson, age 26, a wealthy Philadelphian, upon visiting the shore, met and fell in love with a local Berlin girl, Elizabeth Henry,

With music in the streets, antiques, galleries and vintage stores to browse and lots of great food, this is the place to stroll around while enjoying hundreds of 50's, 60's and 70's classic cars of all types.

Reservations
One nights deposit is required on all reservations. Visa and Mastercard (with experation date and signature) are accepted. Seven days cancellation notice required prior to arrival date for deposit refund. A guarenteed reservation by credit card will be billed if cancelled within seven days of arrival date.
